Why should study M.Tech?

Studying M.Tech helps engineering graduates deepen their technical knowledge and specialize in a particular field like Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. M.Tech in Distance Education

M.Tech Distance Education is designed for working professionals and engineers who want to continue their higher studies without leaving their jobs. The course duration is typically 2 years and focuses on advanced engineering skills in various specializations like Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics.

However, as per AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) guidelines, distance M.Tech programs are not approved in most cases. Only a few universities offer part-time or weekend M.Tech programs for professionals, usually in collaboration with industry or through specific university regulations.

These programs include a mix of online lectures, study materials, lab sessions (at designated centers), and project work. The degree can help in career advancement, promotions, and eligibility for teaching or research roles.

M.Tech : Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for M.Tech, candidates must have a B.Tech, B.E., or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering field from a recognized university with at least 50–60% marks. Admission is usually based on GATE scores, though some universities may conduct their own entrance exams or offer merit-based admission.
