Why should study B.Tech?

B.Tech in Distance Education
B.Tech Distance Education is a non-traditional mode of learning that offers flexibility for students who cannot attend regular college. However, as per AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and UGC guidelines, B.Tech is not approved to be offered in distance mode in India due to its practical and lab-based nature.
Still, some universities offer B.Tech for working professionals in a part-time or evening mode, mainly for diploma holders or those already employed in the engineering field. These programs are often known as B.Tech for Working Professionals or B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and are conducted in hybrid formats with weekend classes and contact sessions.
B.Tech : Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for B.Tech, a student must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board, securing at least 50-60% marks. Admission is usually through entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level tests. Some private colleges also offer direct admission based on merit.
